Travis Burmaster is a veteran ultra-distance runner based in Colorado — a 2× Leadman finisher,
2× Leadville Trail 100 Mile finisher, and Western States 100 finisher. He has raced
2,693 miles across 158 events dating back to 2008,
tackling some of the most iconic and brutal courses in North America.
Angie is an ultra runner too — she crossed the finish line alongside Travis at the
2021 North Fork 50K at the same pace.
Together they explore Colorado's trails, mountains, and wild places year-round.
Off the trails, Travis is a proud father of three and grandfather of two.
His eldest daughter, Katie Burmaster, is 30 —
and has made Travis a grandfather twice over, with twins who are 16 months old.
Travis and Angie are also raising a 4-year-old son and a
16-month-old daughter of their own.
Life in the Burmaster house is full — early mornings on the trails, and everything that comes with
raising a young family in Colorado.
